Designed for the iPad Pilot
The Flight Gear iPad Bag was specifically designed for the iPad pilot, with lots of pockets for organization and custom pockets for protecting important electronics. The smaller footprint is perfect for stowing on the floor between the front two seats of the Cessna. With a heavy duty carrying handle and padded, no-slip shoulder strap, the Flight Gear iPad Bag will stand up to the rigors of daily flight training abuse.
Organization
Plenty of external pockets protect important gear and keep it close at hand. A transceiver pocket has an hourglass-shaped flap, allowing you to keep the antenna on your radio. When not in use, the antenna can be stowed in a special sleeve on the inside of the transceiver pocket. A flashlight/fuel tester pocket on each side of the iPad pocket provides quick access to these frequently used items. A small water bottle pocket and two pen pockets complete the sides of the bag.
An organizer pocket on the front of the bag is great for pens, business cards, logbooks, and more. An integrated key clip helps to keep your keys from getting lost and a zipper pocket keeps important $100 hotdog menus safely stowed. The front panel can even be embroidered with your name, N-number, or silhouette of your aircraft for an additional $9.95.
The padded iPad pocket is generously sized to fit an iPad and a small kneeboard. A special hole in the side of the pocket allows access for a charging cable to keep your iPad battery topped off from a backup battery brick in the main pocket (sold separately).
Key Features
The main pocket measures a cavernous 5” deep by 11” tall by 9” wide. A unique headset hanger allows you to suspend your headset from the top of the bag rather than let it get beat up at the bottom. Four elastic loops on the side of the compartment hold AA batteries for quick replacement. Two side mesh pockets are perfect for backup battery bricks or cleaning wipes, and two zippered mesh pockets on the inside front flap are great for organizing cables. A gusseted front flap allows the main pocket to open without falling all the way to the floor of your cockpit.
A unique Gear Mod wall is found at the back of the main pocket. This wall was specifically designed with a soft, velvet-like material. This is perfect for attaching Gear Mods, independent pockets that attach with hook and loop fasteners and make it easy to further customize your Flight Gear bag. Need an extra pocket for a backup battery? There’s a Gear Mod for that (sold separately).
